Let the summer begin...

Memorial weekend at Pickerel Lake. Although the weather was hit and miss, we still found time for some lake fun. Bring on the summer!

Fargo Rocks 2012

This year we had 3 full days of marathon hype. Avery started us out Thursday with her 1/2 mile race. She trained hard and ran like a champ. Good work Aves!

Friday night was my dad's turn. He, Avery and I walked the 5k (3.1 miles). With 95 degree heat and almost 10,000 people, it was a bit of a battle, but it we did it!

And finally, Saturday. Aaron and I tackled the half marathon (13.1 miles). I recorded my PR with a time of 1:55 and Aaron killed it (for not training anyway) with a time of 2:34. Good work Aar!!

3 years of wedded bliss

Aaron and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary with a trip to Brainerd, MN. We stayed at Grandview Lodge where we golfed, enjoyed a couples massage, meandered around Nisswa, ate a few great meals and had some relaxation time. A VERY fun time!
