The annual Shrine Circus was in town this past weekend, so the Hovlands (plus Miss Elle Mac) decided to see what it was all about. Highlights? Riding the elephant, face painting, junk food...lots and lots of junk food...and ofcourse the wonderful $10 light sword... that is now sitting in the toy box somewhere. While the girls had a BLAST, Easton decided it wasn't really his thing and decided to take a snooze. Maybe next year buddy, maybe next year.

Gold-N-Motion
Since Avery is into her "janastics" lately, I decided it would be fun to take her to American Gold's Gold-N-Motion. It's a couple hour program that showcases the different levels of gymnastics, from tots to high schoolers. Although we enjoyed all the acts, our favorite was the FM Acro team. The phrase was, "Mommy I can do that when I'm 5!" We shall see....

Birthday Boy
Hard to believe, but Easton turned one on Wednesday. Where did those 365 days go??! We celebrated with an afternoon at the park, grilling with family and presents. What a fun day!

ABC's and 123's
Well, (tear, sniff, sniff) Avery is officially signed up for kindergarten. We ofcourse celebrated with her favorite... Tutti Frutti. To say she is excited for August is an understatement. I just hope I'm ready....
Wacky Wednesday
Last week was a week long celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday at daycare. Each day was a different activity for Avery. She brought Bonnie Alani (her american doll girl) to visit, wore her favorite hat, crazy sock day, pajama day and ofcourse wacky wednesday. She had so much fun!
